The Frost Jazz Program joins us for a special evening of elite singing and collegiate big band playing, with UCO Jazz Ensemble I opening.

Due to the impending winter storm the Jazz Lab will be closed this weekend.

Due to the forecasted winter storm, UCO will close Friday, Jan. 23. Offices will be closed, and classes and activities are canceled through the weekend. Stay tuned for updates regarding Monday operations.
Ayers Kitchen will be open for students from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4:30-6:30 p.m., daily, Friday, Jan. 23 through Sunday, Jan. 25.

School is back in session and we’re buzzing with activity! 🎓🎶

Monday: Oklahoma Youth Jazz Ensemble Rehearsal (closed to the public)

Tuesday: Graduate Recording Projects (closed to the public)

Wednesday evening: Auditions (closed to the public)

Thursday: Graduate Recording Projects (closed to the public)

Friday: Closed (extremely rare)

Saturday at 8pm: The Sam Vaughn Quartet ($15)

Sunday at 5:00pm: A Cellist’s Tour of the Americas – Marilyn Geib and Friends (Faculty Artist Concert Series, $10)

We’re thrilled to see the energy ramping up with these sessions (rehearsals, recordings, and auditions for our jazz ensembles/combos) as the semester gets underway!
