What if your name, your family's name, or a piece of your Edgefield story could become a permanent part of the Edgefield Hotel?

In Episode 6 of our restoration docuseries, we're introducing a special opportunity to leave your mark on this historic property.

Our Room Naming Silent Auction is officially underway, giving individuals, families, businesses and organizations the opportunity to secure naming rights to rooms inside the restored Edgefield Hotel. Winning names will be recognized with handcrafted plaques outside the rooms, creating a lasting connection between the community and the next chapter of this historic property.

A portion of the proceeds will also benefit Preservation South Carolina, whose partnership has played an important role in bringing this restoration to life.

And there's plenty of progress to see in this episode. We're checking in with the construction team as the hotel begins transitioning toward its finished interior, and we're following the incredible process of restoring the hotel's original 100-year-old heart pine and oak floors.

The Edgefield Hotel is taking shape from the inside out. 🏨

In Episode 5 of our docuseries, framing is going up, drywall is being hung, windows are being restored and replaced, and the vision for the hotel is becoming easier to see with every step forward.

We’re also taking you behind the scenes of what it means to thoughtfully restore a historic property like this, including the craftsmanship, collaboration, and careful decisions that go into preserving its character while preparing it for the future.

"Further Afield" takes us just beyond the hotel property to explore what makes a weekend in Edgefield so special. This time, we're highlighting a different side of the area with destinations that have long made Edgefield a draw for sportsmen, golfers, and outdoor enthusiasts.

From a world-renowned golf destination just minutes away, to the Palmetto Shooting Complex, the National Wild Turkey Federation, and Pine Ridge Club, you'll get a closer look at some of the incredible attractions surrounding the future Edgefield Hotel.

We also check back in on the restoration itself, where major progress has been made inside the building... along with a few unexpected challenges that come with bringing a historic landmark back to life.
