For those of you wondering what we've been up to since we shut our doors to the public, we've been busy testing new ideas and creating new products.

We're excited to share with you all at Riverfest just what a few of those are. So far we have the following:

Honey Tubes - Think pixie stix but made with granulated honey, instead of sugar. They're a bit sour and pack a punch 💥

Bee-trayed by Flavor - A general meat rub made for all types of meat. Great for grilling or smoking.

Garlic Habenero Hot Honey - This hot honey is a bit different than what you get from the store. It's flavorful and packs a little heat.

New Creamed Honey Flavors - We created and added 4 new creamed honey flavors to our already wide selection. The new flavors include: Lemon, Matcha Green Tea, Pumpkin Spice, and Maple.

Make sure to stop by the WGBee Farm tent and taste the new items and give us your feedback!

It’s with a mix of bittersweet sadness, and genuine excitement, that we’re announcing a brief pause in our operations. We’ll be closing our doors to the public until early next year. While this wasn't an easy decision to make, we’ve spent the last few months carefully considering our next steps, and we’re confident that this is the right move for our future.

The past six years have been an incredible journey. We are so proud to have played a part in the revitalization of the Downtown/Uptown area, and it has been a privilege to watch this community grow alongside us. We truly enjoy seeing the successes of our neighbors.

Following our internal restructuring a few months ago, some exciting new opportunities emerged that we simply couldn’t pass up. We’ll be spending the next few months focused on elevating our honey products. With the recent road closures impacting the area, it felt like the perfect time to make this shift.

While things will look a little different when we return, we’re confident that the changes will be for the better—and we can't wait to share something with you that we’re truly proud of.

Our last day is August 29, 2026. You'll still see Amanda and I around. We've got exciting things coming down the pipe and we can’t wait to share as we experiment and grow.

With much love and appreciation,

Leslie

Sorry for the inconvenience but we will be closed tonight, July 22nd, 2026. We're dealing with some type of crud and no one feels capable of pulling a shift. We'll try again tomorrow.

Wednesday night is the night!

Grab your cutting or small plant and come hang out with us. Comment below if you plan on attending ⬇️

Don't forget, we currently do not serve alcohol, however, a few of our lovely neighbors do and we'd love for you to support the Leaksville Social District businesses and bring it back to Hive.
