It's one of those seasons where we told God our plans and instead of laughing, he hit us in the back of the head with a 2x4.
We took a step back, we evaluated, and we made decisions on how to move forward....and then learned that government bureaucracy is not only a lot slower than we thought but redundant and sometimes just awful.
So we pulled back again and had to make some more hard decisions to proceed for the immediate future. We will open, this Wednesday, June 3rd.
Unfortunately, we will NOT be selling alcohol. I'll be transparent.....we don't have a permit at this time. We let the old one go thinking we'd have the new one in a month and we don't. Agencies work on their own timelines and not with each other....and well, s #!+ happens and we're making the best of the situation. We will always gladly allow you to bring your Leaksville Social District beverages in to enjoy.
With that in mind, exciting things are coming and a few will be rolled out in the next few weeks.

While we're disappointed that things didnt work on our timeline....lets be honest, I was hopeful and unrealistic to begin with. We will get the alcohol flowing again as soon as everything has been filed but it may be a few months.
