Hi guys, this is Dani. You will see the following flyer in your packets tonight. The River City Eagles have been kind enough to allow me to establish a relief drive for members of our Paducah Coast Guard unit. We have already received goods from some wonderful people, and your help is appreciated, too. No monetary donations, we are asking for canned or boxed foods, dried pastas, sauces, canned meat, soups, hygiene products, diapers or whatever you can donate. This is to help our active duty members breathe a little easier until their pay begins again.
We are going to take what has been collected so far to the unit tomorrow. But we will continue to collect and drop off until the shutdown ends.
Thanks in advance for any help, to those of you who have already donated, thank you from me Charlie and from the men and women of U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Unit Paducah.
