If I had a dollar for every time someone asked when we’re opening… I’d have the mortgage paid off by now. 😂🍻
As much as I’d love to throw the doors open tomorrow, this building has been standing since 1853, and I want to make sure everything is done right. It’s likely older than any other building in town that is still operating as a bar (and I am EMBRACING that), so the crew is giving it a little extra TLC while adding some of our own touches.
Here’s a sneak peek of one of our new tabletops. Each table will be different, and many of them will feature pieces of local history, the history of Ole’s, and even some of my own family history.
That being said, here’s a look at the first 40 years of owners that helped shape this place into what it is today, and a random picture of Ole and I. I imagine you all miss him as much as I do! 🍻
We promise we’re working on it ALL DAY, EVERYDAY and getting closer. No exact opening date just yet… but soon. Very soon. Thanks for being excited with us, we can’t wait to see you all at the bar.
And trust us… when the doors finally open, it’ll be worth the wait. 🍻
