Hey Function Fam, we will not be having our usual open mic at The Standard tomorrow (1/2/18)... or for the rest of January... maybe not until March...or maybe never again! The venue owners and I spoke after the last show and agreed that it wasn't working out and we need to take a "break".
That room isn't super great for comedy, and I
guess we may have crossed a line when we called that special ed teacher re****ed? Or maybe just generally making paying customers want to leave is bad for business 🤷🏿♂️ ?
Not saying they definitely won't have us back in February or March, but I will start scoping out a fresh new venue for the new year. Open to suggestions! You guys remain sexy and grab 2018 by the 8, which looks like it might be the nuts idk. One love
