CORE Family Winery Family owned and operated Rhone and Bordeaux blends winery located in Santa Barbara County, California My wife and I started CORE wines in 2001 with 240 cases.

We do it all including: grow grapes, making our own wine, tasting room, sales, distributor development, marketing, branding, custom crush and labels, social networking, wine club, TTB and ABC reporting. In 2003 we started Alta Mesa Vineyard in Santa Barbara County. Grew Grenache and Mourvedre for 7 years. Using most of the Grenache and Mourvedre grapes for our CORE label started in 2001. The rest

we sold to highly rated wineries. Starting at $1250 a ton the first year and $4000/ton 4 years later.By 2005 we were producing 3500 cases of wine under our CORE and Turchi brands. In 2006 we introduced C3 to focus on Tempranillo and Kuyam which features Bordeaux blends. Our wines are primarily blends and have received high acclaim from Robert Parker, The Rhone Report and other well known bloggers and critics. What makes us special is we started with nothing and built from the ground up. We're a family owned business who performs and has knowledge in all facets of our business
