Songwriter, storyteller, playwright and author Bill Harley has made a living and a life from his songs and stories. A member of the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame and two-time Grammy winner for his family recordings, he was a co-founder of Stone Soup Coffeehouse and has appeared in coffeehouses, schools, and on stages and festivals around the world, from Ireland to India, Hiroshima to Hackensack. He was most recently seen in this area in the one-man retelling of the Homeric epic, An Iliad, at the Burbage Theater in Pawtucket. At Myrtle, he’ll share a wide selection of his songs and monologues, insightful, humorous and heartfelt, from fifty years of work, accompanied by his friends Marty Ballou, Cathy Clasper-Torch, Keith Munslow and Marty Richards

Bar's open at noon, with music starting at 2PM ✨

Jeri Kozak & The Maybe Later features original Americana-driven music that draws from folk, indie, alt-country, and bluegrass traditions. The band includes Jeri Kozak (music & lyrics, rhythm guitar, and lead vocals), Amy D’Souza (fiddle and harmonies), Louis Leeman (bass and occasional lead guitar), Steve Meehan (drums), and John Rufo (mandolin and occasional bass). Although this particular band was formed in early 2025, we’ve all been playing together in different iterations since the early 2000s, and our sound is inspired by artists like Lucinda Williams, Patty Griffin, Jenny Lewis, Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, and The Chicks.

Jodie Treloar Sampson is a Massachusetts/Rhode Island based singer/song writer. Her writing/performance style lends itself to indie folk with indie rock and alt country leanings. When it comes to her vocal style, her range in both genre and physical ability spans rock, soul, pop, and folk. In addition to creating original music, Sampson Treloar also works as a voice over singer/actor.

SILVER DOLLAR BILLS: Two years ago, Billy Collins and Doug Roesch started meeting regularly to collaborate on songwriting. Each had their own backlog of original songs, which they had played with bands in Boston and New York City. With the recent addition of Alex Jacques on bass, David Sienko on drums, and Noah Brinton on keyboards, they are now performing as SILVER DOLLAR BILLS.

A shared love of traditional blues, standard country, and basic rock and roll forms the main inspiration for Billy and Doug’s songwriting. Billy Collins’ music can be heard at billycollins.bandcamp.com Doug Roesch’s music can be heard on Spotify, itunes, etc under the band name TOWN STREET CRIERS.

THEY THEY: Is an indie / q***r / art pop / duo that writes songs and performs on guitar, casiotone, synth, and vocals. Their music can be heard on Spotify, itunes, etc. The album: PRACTICE OF STRANGE

MARGEAUX LYNN is a Newport-based singer-songwriter making cottage-core-coastal-grandmother-folk-pop songs and wearing her heart on her sleeve in her cottage by the sea. Her music can be heard on Spotify, youtube.

Join composer Matthew Kowalski and a group of talented friends and collaborators for an open rehearsal of the Little City Biggish Band—a creative, exploratory ensemble that brings together improvisers, composers, and thinkers from Providence’s vibrant music community.

This isn’t just a rehearsal—it’s a chance to witness the real-time process of collaborative music-making, where the relationships between players shape the direction and feel of the work. Matt’s compositions often grow out of personal connections with fellow musicians, and this open session reflects his interest in music as a tool for solidarity, communication, and shared expression.

Expect moments of structure, spontaneity, experimentation, and conversation—not just between instruments, but between people. Whether you're a fellow musician, a curious listener, or someone interested in how technology and art intersect in live performance, you're invited to come listen, observe, and be engaged.
