📚 READ A BOOK | EARN A FREE PIZZA 🍕
Yep, we’re bringing back that old-school reading reward feeling.

October is National Book Month, and Mad Chef is going 𝗠𝗔𝗗 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚!

Starting October 1, students from Pre-K through high school can stop by Mad Chef and pick up a FREE Mad About Reading slip.

Here’s how it works:

📖 Pick up your reading slip at Mad Chef during October.
📚 Choose a book and read it. Little readers can read along with a grown-up, too!
✏️ Complete your slip and have a parent or guardian initial it.
🍕 Bring it back to Mad Chef and earn a FREE kids cheese pizza!

That’s it. No purchase necessary. Just a little extra motivation to get kids reading and a Mad good reward when they finish.

Reading slips will be available October 1–31, and completed slips can be redeemed through November 30.

One reading challenge + one free kids cheese pizza per student.

And we’re not stopping there📚we have teamed up with Moonlit Hollow Books to bring you some fun things!

October will also bring an All-Ages Book Fair on October 17 with books for all ages, reading accessories + a local author meet & greet, followed by the start of our Silent Book Club hosted by Moonlit Hollow Books on October 25.

We’re not saying you need to try all five…but we’re also not saying you shouldn’t 🤣

This week’s lineup has a little bit of everything, and choosing just one might be the hardest part.

𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗲 🍄‍🟫Hearty chicken stock, celery, onions, mushrooms, and herbs, finished with heavy cream and topped with crispy shallots.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼 🐓 Crispy chicken thigh, hot capicola, melty mozzarella, roasted red peppers, and a smear of hot cherry pepper aioli on a toasted brioche bun. Fuhgeddaboudit.

𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 🌴Olive oil base, pulled jerk chicken, sweet plantains, mozzarella, finished with mango chutney and scallions.

𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗴𝗼 𝗣𝗶𝘁 𝗣𝗶𝗲 🍕Demi-glace base, braised pulled beef, caramelized onions, mozzarella, provolone, and finished with giardiniera veggies.

𝗥𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲 🍰 Raspberry-infused cheesecake topped with raspberry filling, crumbled donuts, powdered sugar, and whipped cream.

🍂Two fall favorites rolled back into the pub, and suddenly we’re ready for crisp air, patio pints, and spooky season…

𝗠𝗮𝗱𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁 🍂 is a traditional German-style Festbier that’s slightly bready, crisp, clean, and dangerously drinkable. The kind of b**r that makes you want to grab a seat outside and stay awhile.

𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗷𝗮𝗰𝗸-𝗼-𝗟𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 🥞 is our festive pumpkin-spiced Schwarzbier loaded with cocoa, maple, pumpkin spice, and everything nice. It’s basically a trip to the pumpkin patch without the hayride.

Both are back just in time for fall, so grab a draft and drink in the season.

🚨Attention🚨Mad Chef Family 👉🏼 Patio Update for Saturday, September 12

Our main patio will be closed for a private event starting at 3 PM through close.

Still want to sit outside? We’ve got you covered! Our dog patio will become our outdoor seating from 3 PM until close. Please note that non-service dogs will not be permitted in this area during that time.

Our pub and brewery seating will remain open as usual. Thanks for planning ahead, and we’ll see you Saturday!

Three new cocktails just hit the bar, and choosing one might be the hardest part 🫣

Fall is creeping in, and we’re leaning into the good stuff: candied orange, toasted marshmallow, salted caramel, espresso… you get the idea🫶🏼

Candied Orange Old Fashioned 🥃 Bourbon, housemade candied orange syrup, a dash of bitters, and finished with housemade candied orange and a Luxardo cherry. It’s giving sweater weather without the pumpkin spice🤣

Fluffernot 🥜 Wh***ey, Pea-not tincture, housemade toasted marshmallow syrup, sunflower butter, and plant-based foamer. Think fluffernutter vibes, all grown up and a little mad.

Your weekend food plans just made themselves 🤙🏼

This week’s features are bringing peak summer flavors, Mad Chef comfort food, and a dessert you’re definitely not sharing.

𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱 🍉 Cubed watermelon, feta cheese, cucumber, pickled red onions, olive oil, balsamic reduction, and finished with mint and micro basil.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗱 𝗕𝗟𝗧 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼 🐓Crispy chicken thigh, smoky black peppercorn bacon, heirloom tomatoes, baby romaine, and pesto aioli on a toasted brioche bun.
