“I’ll meet you anytime you want, in our Italian restaurant” -Billy Joel
For more than two decades we’ve walked through these doors, we’ve shared meals, we’ve laughed, we’ve loved, we’ve danced, we’ve become family. The amount of gratitude in our hearts is near impossible to put into words, but we will try.
We want to thank you for allowing us to be a part of this community for over 23 years. We’ve seen you and your children grow, we’ve sponsored little league teams and then employed them! It’s been a lot of fun, and a lot of hard work, through all of the laughter and tears we got a second family and a second home.
As you all know La Vita has been a big advocate of Local Musicians and we encourage everyone to continue to do what you can to support the music. “Where words fail, music speaks.”
Forever remember La Vita as a place that grew up along side of each one of us. Every time you hear the name be reminded of the sweet music, abundant laughter, the sounds of sizzling hot eggplant rollatinis and the smells of delicious fresh made pizzas, and we will smile with our hearts overflowing with joy.
We hope you’ve made long lasting memories that forever remain in your heart and in your bellies. It hasn’t been an easy decision, but all good things must come to an end. We wish the new owners of 9 Main Street nothing but success in their future endeavors, and we plan to join all of you on the other side of the bar!
Come and see us before we are 86’d on Wednesday 11/23, if La Vita has touched your heart in anyway, we invite you all to celebrate with us. Here’s to the end of 23+ years, and the beginning of the rest of our lives. Who knows what the future has in store but we sure hope to share a meal with you again soon!
Clocking out for the last time,
Jacqueline, Alexina, Nick,
and the entire La Vita family
