Gerald was a frequent guest at our restaurant and many others in Eagle River. I’m very sad to hear the news of his passing. He had a great sense of humor. He was an instrumental part of the Alaska oil industry and loved telling story’s of his time developing break thru drilling methods that he was a big part of inventing. Gerald was an accomplished trap shooter and loved by so many people in that community. Our restaurant like many others become a place of community where friends meet and spend time together. Gerald had a love for good scotch. We always kept a bottle of Balvenie 18 on the shelf at his request. Like so many others I’m going to miss your company Gerald. Our hearts are with your family and the grief they are going thru. You will be greatly missed . We will see you on the other side sooner than later.

Alehouse pizza only use the best ingredients. Our house made sauce is made with Italian tomato’s it’s more expensive but so worth it. Whole milk mozzarella and provolone blend, our hand made dough is made daily using “00” pizza flour for the crunch and crispy undercarriage finish. Fresh vegetables, high quality meats finished with garlic butter based on the crust when it’s done baking. We purchased our pizza oven out of NY where it was built almost 15 years ago. Anyway, stop by for a great pie. Cheers.
