It's been nearly a week since we held our fundraiser for the Vuk family. If you were there, you know what a great day it was! Because of all of you wonderful folks we were able to raise nearly $7300!!!! 100% of that going directly to the family. (There was a bit more, for specific reasons, it went directly to the family that day).

None of this would have been possible if it wasn't for the overwhelming generously from all of the donors!!! Please take a moment to read thru the donor list. Be sure to support them and thank them for their continued support of their community.

Thank you to Northern Daze for putting on a great show. You guys rock!

Lastly, a special thank you to some special individuals that helped before, during and after the event. Dawn Sleeman Olderman , Shawna, Cassandra Reid, Deb Preuser , Karen Hilger Munnik-Turner, Victoria Sleeman , Vanessa, Jaime Riemer , Spencer, Debilyn Vuk, Lane, Mickayla, Barney, Brian Klemmer, Logan, Joe, Jade, Johnny Bishop , and Tex. And To all of those that brought food, thank you. My apologies if I missed anyone. Your all loved and greatly appreciated!

Time to highlight some more donors.

1 The Brunner family. This wonderful family donated over $500 worth of gift baskets! From FonDuLac, with family here in town, they continuely put together baskets to donate to fundraisers like this. They were the very first to reach out with a donation.

2. Maggies Geological Gems. A beautiful gem and stone gift basket. Located in minocqua. Maggie was the second person to donate.

3. The Honey Bear. The 3rd to donate. Gift certificates and gift basket items.

Thank you very much for stepping up and being so generous! There are so, so many more to thank. All donors will be listed on thank you boards the day off the event as well.

Let's highlight a few more prizes and the businesses/ people that donated them for the Vuk family fundraiser this Saturday from 1 to 4 here at the squirrel.
1.Boatsport Marine: A full day 20' pontoon rental.
2. Scott Samuels: Airplane ride for 2 over our beautiful Northwoods.
3. Legacy Floors: $1000 of flooring.

WOWZA!!!! and they keep coming in! There will be basket Raffles. 50/50. Silent auction. Gift card raffle board with hundreds of dollars worth of gift cards. Booze/ beer wheelbarrow raffle. Free Kids raffle table. Tickets available now and day of for the RF-15. Full bar available. Food buffet for donation. Beer tent and live music by Northern Daze.

The outpouring of support from this community has, at times, been overwhelming. Apologies if we get emotional when picking up donations( Tammy).
In good times, and bad, this town continues to rally around its own and show the love.
I love you. You love me. We're a happy family. (Yup, that's to quote Barney. You know you sang it too)
