The Glenmore is located on the shores of Big Moose Lake in the Central Adirondacks Park. It is a popular spot amongst tourists all year round: boating, water skiing and hiking in the summer; cross-country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter. The lake's popularity derives from its remoteness, climate and beauty, as well as its notoriety as the location of the murder of Grace Brown in 1906. Alleged ghost sightings and subsequent media attention have added to the allure. Big Moose Lake is a secluded peaceful setting just 6 Miles north of 4th Lake, drive up the Big Moose Road from Rt. 28 in Eagle Bay, N.Y.

To kick off summer we will be hosting our first guest bartender night of the season. Each Thursday throughout the summer we will be welcoming guest bartenders from our Big Moose Community to join our bar manager, Maddy for a night of mixing drinks and pouring beers. Kelly and Kelly will be joining us tomorrow night to kicking off America 250th birthday weekend in style with a custom cocktail list and a great night of fun.



Just a reminder we will not be open for dinner server this summer, bar only. The bar will be open Thursday(guest bartender night), Friday and Saturday til Labor Day.

Pizza will be available during operating hours, as well as, a dessert menu for those looking for an after dinner cocktail and treat. Maddy has added some new cocktails to her drink list, so stop in to give them a try, and for those draft lovers, we have 6 handles pouring.

To our Big Moose Lake community, friends, and loyal customers,

We wanted to share an important update about this summer at Duffy’s at the Glenmore.

As many of you know, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes on major renovations to improve both our kitchen and hotel. After a lot of difficult conversations and careful consideration, we’ve made the decision to pause food service for this summer so we can focus fully on completing this next phase of construction.

This was not an easy decision for our family to make. We know Duffy’s has always been a gathering place for the lake community, and we understand many of you will be disappointed. Please know this choice comes from wanting to build something even better for our business, our family, and for everyone who has supported us through the years.

By stepping back from kitchen operations temporarily, we’ll be able to make much more significant progress and reopen with the improvements done right, instead of trying to stretch everything out over a much longer period of time.

While the kitchen will be closed, the bar at Duffy’s at the Glenmore will still be open:
• Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays
• We’re excited to bring back Guest Bartender Nights on Thursdays
• And we’ll also be open Memorial Day Weekend (Friday - 5:00, Saturday - 11:30 & Sunday - 11:30-5)

We truly appreciate the patience, understanding, and support this community has always shown us.

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back to a bigger and better Duffy’s as soon as possible. Thank you for sticking with us while we work toward that future.

Mother Nature dropped enough snow to make it rideable, nothing great but enough to get out and do some late season riding. We are open til 1am and tonight around 9:30/10pm we will pull the winner for the Big Moose Fire Company Snowmobile Raffle. Today will be our last day open until Memorial Day weekend, thank you everyone for a great season and we look forward to the 26/27 winter.
