Two years ago this May, our friend Brian Osterhaus lost his battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Brian was far more than the contractor behind Textile's renovation, he was one of the people who helped bring this building back to life. From building the custom island that supports our tap tower, to preserving original pieces and repurposing them throughout the brewery, Brian poured his craftsmanship, creativity and heart into this place.

He repurposed old barn doors, vintage hinges, flooring, beams, and even the massive factory fan that now hangs above the bar as our “fandelier.” He built the landing overlooking the Biergarten, framed spaces that would eventually become gathering places, and worked to preserve the character and history of the old sewing factory while helping shape it into something new.

If you’ve spent time in our Biergarten, admired the details around the brewery, or simply enjoyed a beer with friends here, you’ve experienced part of Brian’s work. We're proud to dedicate our Biergarten (outdoor patio) in his memory as "Osty's Biergarten." We thank you for your continuous support.

Happy Birthday to the owner of Textile, Tom! 🥳

We’re incredibly grateful for his support, quiet leadership, humble spirit, and the trust he puts in his team every day.

If you had told him 10 years ago that he’d one day own a brewery back in his hometown (surrounded by friends, family, and community), he probably would have thought you were crazy. But life has a funny way of bringing people back to where they’re meant to be, and we’re pretty glad it brought him here.

Help us wish Tom the happiest birthday and cheers to another great year ahead! 🍻

Re-Joyce | Strawberry Rhubarb Sour | 4.5% ABV

This batch has more rhubarb than ever... Brewed with over a pound of local rhubarb per gallon and a whole lot of love, this sour is a tribute to the one who inspired it all — the owner's mom, Joyce. Bursting with tart rhubarb and balanced by the sweetness of ripe strawberries, it’s like a glass of her famous rhubarb crisp, only sippable. A little nostalgic, a little tangy, and a whole lot of “Thanks, Mom.” ❤

p.s. You may notice this year's batch is less red than year's past. That's because the company we use for flavors has removed artificial dyes from their products... a very good thing! 😊 Enjoy!
