Kalmia Garden Chamber Music & Arts is BACK and a new era is upon us!
For the past 10 years we have brought a 2 week concert series to Gastler Farm, and now for the first time ever, we are expanding to year round concert series!
To support this exciting upgrade to our music festival, join us for a celebratory Gala Benefit Performance for FREE on October 5 at 4pm!
This concert helps us give back to the passionate music-lovers in our area, while raising funds to make this new vision come to life. Presenting concerts throughout the year introduces new costs to our team, and none of it will be possible without your support. Please join us as we reshape the future of music performance in Durham.
🔥For this super special event, we are thrilled to be joined by two internationally renowned performers: violinist Jinjoo Cho and pianist Kyu Yeon Kim.
🙌 Jinjoo is the recently appointed violin professor at Northwestern University, Artistic Director of ENCORE Chamber Music Institute, and acclaimed soloist.
🙌 Joining us from Seoul National University, Kyu has won prizes in several competitions including Dublin International Piano Competition and Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition.
