Labor Day hours today at The Overlook. We’ll be closing at 6:00 PM so our crew can enjoy the rest of the holiday with family. Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸

We’re open today, but we’re going to wrap things up a little early so our crew can enjoy what’s left of Labor Day with their families.

The course is in great shape, so come get a round in this afternoon, then we’re all calling it a day.

The Overlook food update

The Overlook will be closed for regular food service today as we host the EPC Wolves Athletic Department Fundraiser and Denny Haglund Memorial Golf Tournament.

We have a busy day ahead of us, but even if you are not golfing in the tournament, you are still welcome to stop up, support the cause, buy raffle tickets, and enjoy a meal.

Today’s meal is a local beef cheeseburger with homemade chips for $10.

Good luck to everyone participating today. It’s going to be a great day at Rolling Greens!

The Overlook food update

Well, that didn’t last long.

Unfortunately, we will not be open for lunch for the foreseeable future. We’re still working through staffing challenges, and right now the best way for us to be consistent is to focus on dinner service.

For now, the grill will be open:

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Weekend grill hours will vary depending on staffing, tournaments, and private events, so we’ll keep posting updates as we have them.

We’re sorry for the back and forth. We really are trying to build this thing into something special, but at the moment dinner is what we can commit to and do well.

Thank you for sticking with us, laughing with us, and continuing to support The Overlook as we figure it out.

Clubhouse Burger and Dog Week at The Overlook!

We’re open for lunch again, starting at 11 AM.

And we’re keeping it classic this week.

The Clubhouse Burger is topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and our house-made Clubhouse Sauce on a toasted bun.

We’re also doing the Clubhouse Dog, topped with Clubhouse Sauce, pickles, onions, and shredded lettuce.

Alright, let’s try this again.

Lunch returns tomorrow at The Overlook!

We’ve been working through some scheduling and staffing challenges, but we’ve found a way to get lunch rolling again.

Starting tomorrow, we’ll be open for lunch, and we’re also kicking off Happy Hour from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.

During Happy Hour, your first round comes with a complimentary basket of our house chips, one basket per table.

Tomorrow morning, we’ll post this week’s Burger of the Week and Hotdog of the Week, and we have a few other announcements coming soon.

For now, we’re excited to get lunch going again.

Stop in, grab a bite, have a drink, and help us get this thing rolling again.

One does not simply skip lunch. 🍔⛳

The Overlook food update

We’ve made the decision to adjust our grill hours for the time being.

Starting now, The Overlook grill will no longer be open for lunch. With our current staffing, the best way for us to be consistent is to focus on the hours we can cover well.

For now, regular grill hours will be:

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Weekend grill hours will vary depending on staffing, tournaments, and private events, so we’ll post weekend updates as we have them.

Barn Again Lodge pizzas and hot dogs will still be available during clubhouse hours.

We know this is a change, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. Our goal is to make sure that when the grill is open, we can do things the right way and provide a better, more dependable experience.

We had the pleasure of hosting the Class of ’81 reunion at The Overlook over the weekend!

There’s something pretty special about seeing a group come back together after all these years to catch up, laugh, and share a few stories.

Thank you to the Class of ’81 for choosing The Overlook for your reunion. We truly appreciate it, and we hope you had a great evening together!

Yesterday was Jaidyn Glaus' last day with us at The Overlook!

Jaidyn has spent the past two summers helping us out in the kitchen, and we’re definitely going to miss having her around.

This fall, she’ll be heading to UW–Madison where she’ll be pursuing a degree in kinesiology.

Thanks for all of your hard work over the past two summers, Jaidyn. We wish you nothing but the best at Madison and in whatever comes next!
