Early this morning a little boy came into Nicks and was hiding under a table alone. A few seconds later a woman came into see if his parents were there.. as she had seen him alone down the street near the bank and wanted to make sure he was safe.
We don’t know the whole situation, you never know what people are going through. We’re not here to judge. Instead we want you to know how grateful we are to have a community like this. We are so grateful for the woman that stopped.. How easy it could have been for her to just keep heading to wherever she was going. We are so grateful that the little boy came into Nicks, as we are a safe place for children whether they are lost, cold, or scared.. so we could get him the help he needed. And we are so grateful for the quick response from our local police department.
Let’s use this lesson as a reminder to be kind, to look out for our neighbors and our children. And, be grateful that we live in a community that didn’t look the other way❤️
