We are looking for a Fulltime Cook that is reliable and responsible with open/flexible availability who is able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Another year of fundraising has come to a close... and with that, a donation of $26,300 to Medical Oncology Associates in Kingston ❤️
For those of you who know us - you know that our Make Life Count Charity is really the heart of the Tipsy Turtle... it started way back in 2004 after Kenny's very own cancer diagnosis and has continued year in and year out to support the Prescription Assistance Fund that was set up by Dr Greenwald and Dr Saidman at MOA. This fund is for the patients - the ones going through cancer treatments that are facing the harsh reality of everything a cancer diagnosis truly entails. It helps ease the burden for those that need a little help with the costly copays that quickly add up, the expensive prescriptions that their insurance doesn't fully cover, rides to and from treatment when they have no other options... it even helps pay for their insurance when they have unfortunately lost their jobs due to not being able to work during treatments. It helps so many get and continue the treatment they need to keep fighting.
💓We are beyond proud and humbled to announce this year's donation - and with that, the cumulative total that we have raised through the years... an astonishing $579,800! Yes, you read that correctly, over half a million dollars has been donated - and it's thanks to our loyal friends, family and supporters who show up for us every year. We thank you beyond mere words can express - it's your actions and your generosity that keep us going... from the bottom of our grateful hearts, Thank You 🙏

Monday October 23rd is the drawing for our Make Life Count Charity Raffle tickets! ....there was a misprint on the tickets unfortunately - it is Monday 😁

🙏If you haven't purchased your tickets yet, hurry - time is running out to not only have a chance at $10,000 and some really great other prizes - but please, please remember that all money raised goes directly to the Prescription Assistance Fund at Medical Oncology. This means local cancer patients who are currently undergoing treatment will get assistance with the cost of prescriptions, co-pays, medical equipment, rides to treatment and so much more if they need it. It truly is such a great cause and has helped countless people and families over the years 💓
