Had an awesome time tasting with one of our favorite wineries from this side of the mountains, Sparkman Cellars out of Woodinville. We were also introduced to a winery recently added to the Sparkman family, Sigillo Cellars from Chelan.

When we open you’ll be able to catch some of the great summer wines we tasted, and can definitely look forward to an event or two down the road with them! 🥂

Mama & Papa South Sound got to join Mount Olympus Brewing Company last week in canning our collab beer. We are so grateful to have such an awesome brewery wanting to collab with us on a beer for our opening, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this beer soon with everyone! 🍻

We are full steam ahead on our buildout! Most of our big projects will be taking place in the next couple weeks. If you are in the area and see the doors open, stop by to say hi and receive a little giveaway from us! Who knows, maybe we’ll have some other cool stuff to offer as well… 😉🍻

One of our favorite parts of working in this industry is meeting other owners who are living out their passions as well. We spent this past weekend in Walla Walla, where we were able to meet some wonderful business owners and try so many delicious wines. We even found a great local taproom, Walla Walla Beer Parlor, who says hi from the other side of the mountains! 🍻

One great experience we had was an in-depth tour at Saviah Cellars. Saviah is 2nd generation, family-owned & operated, and the care & attention to detail they display to every part of the wine making process shows throughout the property and in the glass. Thank you, Jared & Team Saviah, for hosting us, and putting forth a great tour & experience.

The wines were delicious and the property is definitely a destination location. We highly recommend visiting the next time you’re in Walla Walla. And of course, we will most definitely have a selection of their wines here too! 🍷

Today we thank and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. While we weren’t able to make it out to DuPont this morning, we regularly attend wear blue: run to remember on Saturdays to never forget those who gave all to protect this country.

While the cost of our freedom should never be taken for granted, today we pause to Remember & Honor 🫡 🇺🇸 🙏

Some of the South Sound fam was able to make it out to the Gig Harbor Beer Festival on Saturday. We were excited to try some great beers/ciders, meet amazing people & beer/cider reps, and reconnect with others we’ve known.

Be on the lookout for some of the great breweries/cideries in & around the Gig Harbor area that we will be bringing in regularly to serve at the taproom! 🍻
