This past Sunday, I had the pleasure of running an outstanding event at Slate, which attracted 31 players and fell just short of a full field due to unfortunate circumstances. The event was highlighted by the exceptional play of Tyler Carroll and Tom Rouche, with Tom showcasing his skills by defeating all his opponents, reminiscent of Vince's character in The Color of Money. Tom secured the captain's chair with a convincing 7-3 win over Tyler Carroll. Meanwhile, Tyler Carroll was on a mission, having stated his intention to win the tournament several weeks prior. His positive mindset led to a series of victories until he encountered Tom Rouche. Refusing to give up, Tyler achieved a notable win over Ladon Wiley, setting the stage for a rematch with Tom. The final match was a nail-biter, with Tyler ultimately emerging victorious and claiming the championship title. Congratulations to all participants and especially to Tyler and Tom for their humility and impressive performances throughout the day.

Slate Family Billiards is urging interested players to register promptly for its end-of-month tournament on June 29, as the field is nearly full with a maximum capacity of 32 players.

To participate, registration is required by paying a $60 entry fee via Cash app to MikeX73 by June 22; payments made after this date will incur a $75 entry fee.

It is essential to note that being on the list does not guarantee a spot or the $60 entry fee. However, paying the entry fee secures your spot , although it may be taken by someone who paid in advance.

This means it's open to everyone with a verified Fargo with 200 Robustness. If you do not have enough robustness or are not in Fargo, don't hesitate to contact me; you are still eligible to play, just rating TD's Decision.
