8 years ago we did our wild hair, do something early retirement, enter a realm we knew nothing about: retail sales and BEER.
Ok I knew too much about beer. But!
We were way ahead of the curve, had fun, worked hard and made friends we still consider friends.
The Best of Brews, aka: The BoB!
I’d like to think we broke the ceiling being the first Growler business to get a municipality to write ordinances to be beer friendly. And how things have changed as beer is now king to save your downtown.
Oh to be 30 again I’d be back slinging Brews.

It’s food truck Friday season in Duluth and people have been looking for The BoB. At least that’s what Facebook keeps telling us.
Just thinking we’ve been closed nearly 3 years and we are still loved. Thank you.
Drink Good Beer and we do miss ya’ll.

Well nearly 2 years gone and the bar from the "BoB, found a new home at my son Davids house.
Still plenty of work to do around it.
But!
May plenty of good beer be consumed there!

First bottled beer I have purchased since closing the "BoB".
Highlands 20th anniversary ale. Highland was our first tap take over and a 2 year aged Tasgall was the star of the month long event. Door prizes every week and a grand prize of a gift basket from Highland filled with one of everything from their on line store.
Highland sure knew how to support us.
