HOT BUTTERED RUM RECIPE
Ingredients:
3 cups brown sugar
3 cinnamon sticks
3 whole allspice
2–3 cloves
6–8 cups water
8 tbsp unsalted Kerrygold butter
Island Getaway White Rum
Rum Whip (see below)
Instructions:
Simmer the first 6 ingredients in a pot or crockpot until sugar is melted and spices infuse (25–30 minutes).
Add 1.5 oz Island Getaway White Rum to a mug.
Top with the hot mixture and add a dollop of rum whip.
Rum Whip:
Add 1 oz Island Getaway White Rum to whipped cream and beat for 10 seconds. Add powdered sugar if desired.
