One particularly memorable appearance at South Towne Mall (known affectionately in 1991 as the Ghost Mall) featured ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐‘๐š๐ข๐๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ญ๐ญ๐ž ๐‚๐ก๐ž๐ž๐ซ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ and generated such a large crowd that the Dairy Queen owner personally came over afterward to thank Gregg. He said it was the first time the Food Court had ever had lines of people waiting to order.

Greggโ€™s knack for building athlete-centered events, attracting crowds, and serving serious collectors caught the attention of eBayโ€™s National Customer Support Division. He was recruited as ๐ž๐๐š๐ฒโ€™๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ž๐ซ๐’๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ซ ๐€๐œ๐œ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐š๐ ๐ž๐ซ and later became one of its early ๐“๐จ๐ฉ ๐’๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ซ ๐€๐œ๐œ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐š๐ ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌโ€”bringing his promotional experience and customer-service expertise to the rapidly growing online collectibles marketplace.
