We try to kickoff every Bayou Lounge season with a Mardi Gras party and Bonfire. Unfortunately during the first 10 seasons of the Bayou the weather has only cooperated twice. That's certainly not going to keep us from planning another party as we head into our 11th season. Tuesday, March 4th starting at 5pm. Fingers crossed we have acceptable weather.🦗🎉🥂🍸🍹🎭💜💛💚

The weather looks bad for Friday. Temperature wise it'll be absolutely perfect(high of 82°,) but thunderstorms and rain are in the forecast for the entire day so I'm not going to do our shrimp boil this weekend either. Saturday was an option but the temperature is going to be close to 100° again so another week delay for our shrimp boil. I thought about putting up the rain roof for Friday and just opening up the bar section of the Bayou but with heavy thunderstorms in the forecast it's pointless. As of now I'm going to push the shrimp boil back until the 19th. Looks like another Friday night movie night for me. They don't call me the most exciting man in the world for nothing 🤪. 🐸🐊🥃🍸🇺🇲
