We’re having a LOT of fun celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at Curio, and this week’s Tapas Tuesday pairing might be one of our favorites yet!!

Our Chicken Tostada has crispy fried naan with aji verde, seasoned chicken, queso fresco, pickled red onion, tomato and fresh cilantro.

We’re pairing it with something you may not have tried before: Trivento White Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina. Yes, Malbec can be white! It’s light and refreshing with notes of green apple, lychee, tropical fruit and raspberry.

Over at the Bistro, we’re serving Ch*****ne Frites: extra crispy fries finished with lemon zest, salt and fresh herbs, paired with your pick of one of three sparkling w**es.

Meanwhile at the W**e Bar, we’re bringing a little spice for Hispanic Heritage Month! Curio's Spicy Chorizo Flatbread is topped with house-made pico de gallo, cilantro, Mexican crema and a squeeze of lime....and it's only available in September.

Today we’re keeping it VERY local with our Snake Castle Port from our own Rogers Ford Farm W**ery in Sumerduck, Virginia!

Rich, sweet and made for sipping a little slower. If you’ve never given Port a try, we’d say its national holiday is a pretty good excuse.

Today’s Tapas is a Chimichurri Steak Crostini -
Seared steak atop toasted focaccia, finished with a vibrant chimichurri and pickled red onions.
