Employees that become family are golden geese and we have been gifted with many over the last 10 years. Working in a seasonal town is a precarious balance between feast & famine, an unforgiving grind best suited to folks who can work past fatigue for 5 months to stash their acorns and enjoy a slower pace the rest of the year.

Chef Max has been with us for 5 of those very unpredictable years, putting out really delicious food amidst all storms, whether they be pandemic, staffing, equipment, or weather related. We are indebted to him for making all of our creative small plate dish dreams come true while managing a very clean kitchen with nearly no waste ordering. He leaves big shoes to fill as he moves onto his next adventure, but he has set up a solid team to carry on every process he put in place.

It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to Chef Max, as he has been one of the most genuine caretakers of our dream business that any owner could hope for. We wish him all the best as he gets ready to move south for new adventures and are grateful for every early morning shift that became a long night he gave us. Cheers, Chef 🥂

Cheers to 10 years 🥂. We are celebrating tonight with a sold out food & wine pairing, though the party will continue all weekend long. We are grateful for your support over the last decade, we hoped we would achieve this milestone when we opened in 2016 but this industry is tough and the future is always an unknown.
