Ok pool peeps, Wednesday June 3rd at Mel’s Hideaway starting at 7pm cst speed 8 tournament. $15 includes gf, will decide race once everyone there so we know how many we have to keep it a reasonable time to finish for those having to work on Thursday. Never played speed 8 no worries will explain it on site. Doors open at 3, I'll be behind bar slinging beer and your favorite liqour. Come join the fun and take home some cash. Will also draw for 10 ball!. Spread the word!

On Wednesday May 27th, we hosted a benefit tournament for the family of Danny Morris. He was one of the good ones for sure. If you ever met him you instantly knew you had a friend, he was a great pool player, friend, father, brother and son. He passed away on May 25th leaving us with amazing memories. Your pool playing and teaching are done here, now you can teach those that have gone before us. See you later friend. In his honor everyone broke together for his last break in 9 ball his favorite game! He will truly be missed here at Mel’s.

Lynn went and delivered $1350 to Danny’s mom today ❤️

Congratulations to these wonderful men who finished 1st & 2nd in tonight’s Break for Danny tournament. Gene was in the hotseat and Chris came back around for a race to 4 finish.

They donated their winnings back making the total raised $1350!!!

Barbara Riley won the 50/50 and donated it back too!!!

Thank you to everyone who came out to play and/or just be present and tell stories and memories about Danny. Man he sure was loved!!!!!

Some days are way harder than others. Today is one of those days.
We had 36 players for the tournament tonight celebrating Danny Morris's life.

All 5 tables broke together to kick off the tournament while we listened to Danny's favorite song on the jukebox!

I know its short notice but, I would like to have a memorial 9 ball tournament tomorrow night Wednesday May 27th at Mel’s Hideaway for Danny Morris family. I know money doesn't help with the pain they are enduring right now but it may help take away some of the burden they may come across in near future. Sign up here or at bar by 7pm tomorrow night. PLEASE come show your support I know he will be smiling down on us all for doing it. $20 entry includes green fees paying out ONLY 1ST AND 2ND place. There will be side pot available and 50/50 raffle. Please share and tag players!!
