Dorchester Lions Club

Dorchester Lions Club Lions Clubs International is a secular service organization founded by Melvin Jones in 1917. Our club is always looking for NEW MEMBERS.

General meetings are the first Tuesday of every month at Boozers Bar & Grill in Dorchester, WIl. Social time from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm, meal at 7:00 pm and the Lions meeting at 7:30 pm. Those not wanting to eat before the meeting are welcome to come at 7:30 pm. Some meetings such as January, July and September meetings, are postponed to the second Monday of the month because of the Holiday. Please check with a Lions member if you are planning to attend one of those meetings. If you are not asked to become a member, please contact a local Lions member.

At the September 8th meeting, Lion Carolyn Golz was honored for her hard work in the Dorchester Lions by receiving the distinguished Melvin Jones Fellowship Award. • There are more than 476,000 MJF recipients worldwide. VOLUNTEERS WANTED! The Dorchester Lions will hold their annual Highway Cleanup on May 12th. If you would like to join us, we would sure appreciate the help. We generally pick up trash for about an hour or so, then enjoy a supper of pizza, beverages, and desert provided by the club. So come on out and enjoy some neighborly comradery and help keep the Dorchester area looking good!
