PUMPKIN PAINTING IS OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT!

Y’all filled this one up FAST, and we are so excited! Apparently Dodge City is ready to sit around, paint pumpkins, eat snacks and sip something delicious with us. Honestly? Same.

If you snagged a spot, we’ll see you October 17 from 2–5PM for an afternoon of pumpkin painting, food, drinks and fall chaos. 🍂🎨

And if you missed this one… don’t worry. The way you all jumped on these tickets tells me we better keep the crafty little fall afternoons coming. 👀🧡

Dear Lord, please let us sell out before I eat any more of these. Amen. 🙏

The cinnamon rolls are here, they’re covered in icing, and because apparently that wasn’t enough, we’re serving them with an extra side of cream cheese frosting.

This was a terrible business decision for someone with absolutely no self-control around cinnamon rolls.

Okay, Mother Nature. We see you. 🍂 ☔️

It finally feels like fall outside, which means the chili has officially been summoned.

If you were around last year, you may remember the mason jars of chili that kept disappearing as fast as we could make them. Well… she’s back. This time she landed herself on the lunch menu—and naturally, we brought in cinnamon rolls for the chili + cinnamon roll faithful. Because apparently in Kansas, we have very strong feelings about this pairing. 😂

One important detail: chili season at Best Cellars is dictated entirely by how long Carolina can tolerate smelling chili. There is no committee. No formal end date. No appeals process.

When she’s over it, it’s over. 😂

So maybe don’t make Friday your chili plan.

Come get cozy with us. Grab a bowl, add the cinnamon roll, find a book and settle in.

Why? Because before it ever became part of Best Cellars, it lived in our home. Then it got drafted for bookstore duty—and I’m pretty sure it was meant to be here.

It’s comfy. It’s cozy. And it’s still one of my favorite places to sit.

I haven’t posted in a couple days. 😬

Running social media for a business is exhausting on top of, you know… actually running the business. 😂 Not complaining. Sometimes I’m just too tired to be inspired.

But there’s WAY too much happening at Best Cellars to stay quiet for long.

I get bored. I switch things up. I have an idea and suddenly we’re doing a new event, adding something to the menu, rearranging something, or bringing in something new. It’s kind of how this place works. 😂

And one of our newest additions: BEST CELLARS T-SHIRTS!

I love wearing shirts from my favorite places. There’s something about repping a local spot you love that feels like a little bit of community pride.

And selfishly? It’s also some pretty damn good advertising for us. 😂 Because believe it or not, people STILL tell me they didn’t know our amazing little bookstore + lounge existed.

So come snag a shirt. They’re $23, they’re cute, and you can help us spread the word just by wearing one.

And this is only the beginning… I have a feeling there’s going to be a lot more Best Cellars swag around here soon. 👀📚🍷

Grab your people and come get a little messy with us. We’re spending the afternoon painting pumpkins, snacking, sipping, and fully embracing spooky season. 🕷️🍂

Your $18 ticket includes a medium pumpkin, paint supplies AND a snack box — you just bring the creativity. Paint it cute. Paint it creepy. Paint something wildly questionable and call it art. 😂
