Today's a big day for the IPA lovers, as we have TWO new IPAs going on draft.
Western Connection | West Coast IPA | 6.6% ABV | 40 IBU
'"Lifted" from a recipe created by Brewer Jordan's old coworker & friend, Ryley, in SLC, this WC IPA is bursting with fruit aromas and flavors. The hops include Krush, Idaho 7, Citra, Cascade, Nelson Sauvin, & Mosaic hop hash. The aroma is a veritable fruit parfait: berry, citrus, grapefruit, mango, & stone fruit paired with a resinous, dank backbone. The flavor is fruity with a nice bitterness, & the beer finishes incredibly dry so each sip comes easier than the next. Connect with a friend & share a couple!
Ghosts of the Southern Plains | Hazy IPA | 6.6% ABV | 44 IBU
Golden like the late Summer grasslands that blanket the land, our newest Hazy IPA combines all the favorite elements of the style. A mix of Idaho 7, Simcoe, & Anchovy hops; the aroma is full of fruit: both citrus and tropical. This melds with a resinous dankness with subtle notes of stone fruit, berry, and earthy qualities. The flavor is much of the same with a clean bitterness that acts a nice backbone for the 'fruit salad' hop profile. Dry hopped at about 3 lb/BBL, we didn't skimp on the hops for this one! Let the south wind whipping the plains sweep you in and enjoy a pint or two!
