It is time to announce our RETIREMENT from the bar business!! Our daughter has now entered her first year of High School, and 14-years in the bar business is enough. The season for watching, enjoying, and helping people make a lifetime of MEMORIES has come to an end. We will celebrate our last days on October 5, October 6, and October 7, 2017 from 4pm to 12am each day. Henry, Juvette, Margaret, and Anthony INVITE you all to come have a final DRINK with MEMORIES JAZZ & BLUES LOUNGE. We would like to thank all of our loyal wonderful customers for all the support and laughs. We hope we assisted you in making great memories with friends, family members and strangers you may have met at Memories. THANK YOU!!!!

I want to thank everyone for coming out last Friday to celebrate my Birthday. We had a wonderful time, and the love was real. So, others couldn't make it and want a do over tomorrow. So, now that it took me all week to recover I agree!! Tomorrow we will continue or pick up the party again at Memories. I want all Leo's out and ready to let your hair down. My hair even grew a few inches LMAO!!!

Another great comedy show put on by Mo Owens and hosted by Calvon Brown. The comedians have truly been hilarious. Coming in July each Sunday "Laughter for the Souls", each show will feature a comedian in addition to either a Neo Soul, Jazz or R&B singer.

The Free Bar Rental on Saturday's seem to be what our customers enjoy. So, in honoring your request we will continue hosting your public or private functions on Saturday for FREE!! However, it is first come first serve. If Saturday doesn't work for your function the bar is available Sunday thru Wednesday as well. We have already hosted comedy shows, birthday parties, graduation parties, fundraisers, and reunions.
