From our dear friends M4 CIC we’re excited to be pouring Domaine Goepp La Fine Bulle! A crispy, clean petnat with ripe red apple and grapefruit notes.

And a new way to chow down on fried chicken- introducing G*I TOD SI RACHA (sriracha fried chicken hammers). Inspired by a delicious dinner at 100 MAHASETH ๑๐๐ มหาเศรษฐ์ in Bangkok, we are deep frying chicken thighs & drenching them in a sriracha butter sauce from our 2025 vintage sriracha ala hio_farm. Fried garlic. Pickled chilies.

Dare we say have them together?!

Friday, October 23 we welcome our new sister Spiedo Detroit to the family. Building on the original Spiedo in Ann Arbor, Spiedo Detroit will offer an expanded dinner menu featuring charcoal grilled skewers, large format share plates, a spread of local vegetable dishes and a new w**e program. Spiedo will open with the new dinner items and expand into lunch, carry-out and the classic Ann Arbor sandwiches in the coming days. We can’t wait to feed you Detroit!

With Kenjiro & Charles Trees will be at the helm we honestly can’t say what’s in store and isn’t that thrilling?! Come along for the ride & enjoy our full patio menu, vibrant drinks to the eye and the palette, all while supporting the mission of Got Grief House.

Got Grief House aims to be a part of a culturally responsive community hub where individuals, children and families can be connected to and supported by each other through their personal grief journeys. They have been an invaluable support to many of us, using nature, art, movement in combination with in person and virtual support groups to hold & create space for grief.

It’s not all 🌈🐶🫧🐱 and we believe it’s important we learn to aid one another more wholly, more openly as we grieve.

This dish is one of those beautiful farm + table // thailand + detroit connections that links together why we do what we do, and the care with which we do it.

꧁ GAENG KHIAO WAAN NUEA ꧂
grilled strip steak with summer squash & tree bail in a southern style green curry.

crushing on our farms little saucer squash, this dish is lifted thanks to a distinct varietal of basil from the garden of our friend Ying on the southern island of Ko Samui.  Tended lovingly by the crew at HiO Farm, those seeds carried halfway across the world have grown into hip high bushes, thriving in the hoop house until we cant mask the michigan fall any longer.  

A profile of delicate herbaceaousness all its own, the tree basil leaf is wilted into the curry just before serving. A Takoi slant using old island inspiration, teaching, and whenever we can- ingredients. It is with this regard, respect & pleasure that we present our dishes.

It’s with a bit of whiplash that we can say it’s
time for August’s edition of Passionfruit!

Has the high vibration of summer got you in a tizzy? Have you sweat out more than you’ve taken in? Whatever state you’re in, Friday at our place is going to be a sweet suspension in nourishment.

Let’s start with the charity, because this one hits right to the heart. Every month our patio party supports a selected local charity & the work Freedom House has been doing for over FORTY YEARS is pivotal. Offering widespread services to assist and protect those fleeing their home countries, Freedom House is rooted in our community as a safe haven to those on their paths to safety, security & freedom.

Musically, what a treat.
Its impossible not to love Terri & we’re always thrilled to have her selecting the sounds for our evening. An honor really. Terri shapes time with great moments of disco, house & far reaching gems from her extensive collection. We don’t have to tell you to keep it locked, she does it for you.

So Terri is on 8-11 but we really suggest you come early because we are welcoming Michael S to the decks 5-8. A man of fine taste & elegant transition. Peep the set of his we linked in our bio ~ smooth with just the right amount of bounce & a little bit of grit.

We have a sexy new wok designed and manufactured for us specifically in Bangkok & the farm is harvesting some highly specific herbs and peppers that you won’t find anywhere else. Come see how these entities all swirl together into some high summer magic.
