Club Puertorriqueño De Detroit Unity and Progress of the Puerto Rican community in Detroit and surrounding areas. The purposes of this Organization shall be the following:

A. B. C. D. citizens.

To work for unification, well-being, and better relations between the Puerto Rican families of the city of Detroit and other communities in the State of Michigan. Provide civic and moral guidance to the Puerto Rican community. Work in harmony with other civic, social, and religious organizations at the Local, State and National level. Ensure and defend the civil rights of all Puerto Ricans as U.S.

E. Guide members and all Puerto Rican families in mutual cooperation with all the activities of the city of Detroit and other communities in the State of Michigan. F. Provide cultural knowledge about Puerto Rican including inheritance, but not limited to the arts in all of its aspects.
