Alliance for Inclusion

Alliance for Inclusion AI is a student organization that aims to create an atmosphere where all feel included at the UDM School of Dentistry. The group is open for all to join!

Created in 2013, the Alliance for Inclusion (AI) originally began in an attempt to fill a void in the University of Detroit Mercy community. With an extensive selection of groups aimed to unify different races and religions, there was no such organization for the le***an, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals and their allies. Since its founding however, the group has transformed into a

n alliance open to any compelled to make UDM an atmosphere where all are included, regardless of social category. Men, women, Christians, Muslims, gay, straight, all are welcome to move beyond diversity and make all groups feel included, not simply represented. With service activities and educational outreach, we aim to make both the school of dentistry and our community a more welcoming environment to all persons by eliminating discrimination, misconceptions and ignorance.
