Manila Bay Cafe Manila Bay Cafe is an OPEN MIC wherein our open mic guests perform whatever their hearts desire. We Manila Bay is a cafe, venue, and art gallery.

Our goal is to provide a home to local artists and feeding the community (literally and figuratively). Located in one of Detroit's oldest neighborhood's, we serve coffee and more to provide a place for you to relax, which is especially helpful to students from the local colleges. We host gallery shows, intimate concerts, parties, and generally any event where you might need a room with 150 people

capacity. We believe that Detroit has talent, and the best way to prove it is to showcase it. So stop by sometime, and take a sip of Detroit's history in the making.

Yesterday, Venti and I were honored for bringing Manila Bay Cafe to downtown Detroit (2010 to 2017). To be honest, we felt truly privileged to present some of the most incredible and talented individuals to hit any stage in the country, let alone Detroit. We want to personally thank Peace and John Bell, one of the most talented and gracious couples we have the pleasure of knowing and loving. Special thanks to the magnificent and multi-talented Berhenda Williams, the incredibly powerful talented Thomas Williams, and the incomparable magic Sheezy Bo Beezy brings to every stage and room he enters.

We also want to thank Habacuc and Allied Media Projects for recognizing and respecting all the work of those who supported Manila Bay Cafe as it created a community of unity and love.

Finally, our eternal gratitude goes to the one we love, Rosemarie Wilson Byrd. You highlighted every aspect of Manila Bay in every way, and we will forever be grateful to you.

We are humbled by the love we continue to receive from the community. We will always be proud of those who had the courage to share their hearts and souls at a place some called home, and some called Manila Bay Cafe.

Dino and I want to thank Rosemarie Wilson Byrd, Habacuc, and all the staff at the Love building for the wonderful gift. We also thank and appreciate all those that were able to attend the event honoring Manila Bay Cafe. The show was fantastic and we will treasure the memory forever. We love you all❤️
