The DMMC staff and Board are devastated to hear of the passing of Wendy Hull, a tireless advocate and friend of many musicians in the Des Moines music community. Wendy was an avid consumer of local music, often attending multiple shows a night and keeping the larger community informed of what was happening through her show listings and interviews on her "Wednesday's Notes" page.

Wendy was the heart of our local scene, and her dedication to the music and the musicians who made it will live on in our community for years to come.
