As many of you have heard, this past Saturday was our last day open. Bourbon Street has been a staple on the south side for 21 years. Yes....21 wonderful years! Without the best employees and customers, all of our success wouldn’t have been possible. We have so much appreciation and gratitude for each one of you.
There are so many memories that we will cherish forever. Many of you had your first drink there, and birthday parties, and graduation parties, and wedding celebrations, retirement parties and very important celebrations of life. Bourbon was a special place, not just to us, but to many.
We want you all to know that this decision was not an easy one, it’s extremely bittersweet. Bourbon was our life. Owning your own business comes with many perks, but even more sacrifices. We look forward to a lot of family time! We are excited for this next chapter in our lives, but know we will miss you all so much.
Thank you for letting us be such a big part of your lives, and for you being such a big part of ours. We couldn’t have done it without you!
This isn’t goodbye, we will just see you later...for now!!!
