We waited until April 2nd, because unfortunately this isn't just a bad joke. After 10+ years, we will be closing the brewery at the end of April. Like any decision of this magnitude, the reasons are complicated. However, after dealing with possibly the worst landlords in all of Denver for quite some time, we've known that this would most likely not be our long-term home, and now is the right time to move on.
So, what does the future hold for Grandma? She is going to take some much needed time to relax and reflect on her next move, as she isn't the same lady she was back in 2014, and Denver isn't exactly the same cowtown it was either. We'd like to think we offered something a bit different that still has a place in this great city, but if this is in fact the end, it has been an honor and a privilege to serve you beers made with love in the back of this shabby building. We'd love to see all y'all one last time before we pack up and move on.
