Who’s ready to get crackin?!?! See you there!
ARE YOU AS EXCITED AS WE ARE??
This Sunday, it all kicks off! City Park Jazz celebrates 40 years of free jazz in the beautiful environs of the crown jewel of the Denver Parks system! And we have an incredible opener this year, D.j. Williams! He plays from 6-8 pm. But get there early, because as part of our new youth programming initiative, we have the Mapleton High School Jazz Messengers playing from 5:30–6!
And yes, though the bandshell is unusable after the fire destroyed it in March, we have a great mobile stage ready to go — you can't miss it! It's just to the southeast of the Pavilion, facing north. It's been a wild ride getting to this point, but thanks to the tireless work of the Board of Directors and especially our longtime sound engineers at Mighty Fine Productions, it's all coming together! We don't expect any hiccups (but who ever really does?), but be patient with us if any pop up. And most importantly, thank you to our sponsors, our friends at Dazzle, the City and County of Denver Government, and especially YOU! The donations that have been coming in from the City Park Jazz community of friends and families and fans has been hugely meaningful and truly enabled us to keep this train on the tracks.
See you all Sunday! Here's a little more info about D.J. Williams: https://cityparkjazz.org/2026-concert-calendar/2026/6/7/dj-williams-band
