When Strange Craft Beer Company opened just south of Denver's Mile High Stadium in May 2010, it was the first nano-brewery in the city brewing one barrel of beer at a time. Tim and Marni Myers are committed to small batches and nod to their nano roots with One Barrel Wednesdays for experimental brews. Each month, the brewery donates proceeds from a nonprofit tap to a local charity through their Strangers Helping Strangers program, and offers a lineup of food trucks and other community events.

We've got a new batch of R&D beer on tap today—say hello to Dubbel Trubbel. Tim’s been tinkering with a Belgian Dubbel for a while, and this might be his best shot yet. The rich copper color hints at all that malty goodness and some dark dried fruit vibes. Swing by the tasting room this weekend to try it out and let us know what you think.

Here's a sneak peek at the beers we're tapping this weekend for our anniversary. We'll kick things off with a new West Coast IPA called Sweet Sixteen. It’s packed with Comet, Cascade, and Crystal hops from billygoathopfarm in Montrose, CO, giving it big hits of citrus and lemongrass, along with some dank undertones. Next up, a crowd favorite — we’ll be pouring a batch of Zora, our rosemary pale ale. Finally, there’s cask barrel-aged cream ale with peaches, lemon, and ginger on cask. Make sure to stop by because these beers won’t last long!
