A very kind write up from the Denver Post's John Wenzel about the closing of our parent, El Charrito Bar. We'll have shows every Friday and Saturday (and almost every Wed) until closing day on 12/23. Come see somethin. Help us rage, party and laugh. Let's send this beautiful DIY space off into the ether in style!

Located at 2100 Larimer St. along a formerly blighted row of historic brick buildings, El Charrito has in recent years been swarmed by upscale restaurants, condos and competing watering holes, while the formerly gritty Larimer Street has transformed into a nightlife hot spot.

We're taking the weekend off from shows this week in honor of High Plains Comedy Festival! To make it up to you we have TWO amazing shows tonight (8/22) with lineups so good we're not even allowed to tell you about them. Lot's of talent in town right now... you never know WHO will show up!

EDIT: Thursday night open mic is still on though, comics come on down!
