🎃 NIGHTMARE ON DAYTON STREET 👻
This Saturday, we’re getting spooky. Join us from 7pm to close for a Halloween party featuring a costume contest, karaoke, and a whole lot of Halloween fun.

And if you’re looking for something scary in a different sense, the Aurora Road Runners are kicking things off around 12:30pm with a b**r mile and hot wing contest. 🌶️ Food and shenanigans to follow.

One Saturday. Two kinds of nightmares. See you there. 💀

Three days, three reasons to get yourself to Second Dawn before the weekend:

🎸 TONIGHT | Live Music + Cub Scout Pop-Up
The Lounging Dog House Band kicks off at 6:30 PM. Grab a b**r, settle in, and enjoy some live music. Plus, the Cub Scouts will be popping up at 6 PM selling popcorn if you need a snack for the show!

What a GABF weekend! Thanks to everyone who turned out and said hi at our booth and thanks to the Brewers Association for throwing another great party. Wolf of the Woods continues its winning ways with a Silver in the Italian Pilsner category! Hey Barrels & Bottles Brewery, do I have enough hardware yet for a Krispy King invite?

Happy GABF Week!
We’re celebrating the nation’s largest b**r festival with TWO new b**r releases:

🐙Fresh Coast IPA is back! Our fresh-hopped, Mosaic-forward West Coast IPA brings the harvest straight to your glass.

💡Terpene Kinetics is a special IPA brewed with CH003, a hop from Crosby Hops’ advanced breeding program. We can’t wait for you to experience this one.
This time of year always gets us a little sentimental.

The countdown to GABF coincides with the harvest of two of b**r’s most essential ingredients: barley and hops. It’s a chance to reflect on the incredible people, hard work, and infrastructure behind every harvest. We’re sharing a few images celebrating the folks who dedicate their lives to growing and harvesting the ingredients that bring us so much joy.

We especially love the simple, powerful motto of our partners royfarms and Crosby Hops:
No People, No Farm, No B**r.

Cheers to everyone who grows our barley and hops, gets those ingredients into our brewery, and ultimately makes it possible for us to share great b**r with all of you. None of this happens without you.

Come celebrate GABF Week with us! Both b**rs are pouring in the taproom. Let’s raise a glass to the people behind the b**r.

Cheers to GABF weekend! 🍻 We’re excited to be pouring some fantastic b**rs at Great American B**r Festival in its new location!

Flying in? We’re one of the closest breweries to the airport, right here in the ACAD — the perfect stop before or after the fest. ✈️🍺

Can’t make it to GABF? Come hang in the taproom and try what we’re pouring! 🍻

See you this weekend!

PROST! 🍻 Today we’re doing something a little different.

Join us from 1–5 PM for our first-ever Festbier Service, bringing a little German b**r hall tradition to Second Dawn.

Never experienced Kölsch-style service? Here’s the deal: order your Festbier Service at the bar, grab your coaster and your first 8 oz pour of For the Rest of Us Festbier, then sit back and relax. We’ll keep the cold pours coming as you finish each one. No need to reorder—we’ll keep track of your b**rs on your coaster.

Ready to call it? Put your coaster on top of your glass. Settle up at the register when you’re ready. Just don’t lose that coaster (seriously, it’s a $50 replacement fee).

And because Festbier deserves a proper snack situation, we’re teaming up with Styria Bakery for mini pretzel bites with cheese and Steel Horse mustard, snacking boards, and big pretzel specials.

Today | 1–5 PM | First come, first PROST.

Grab a seat, grab a b**r, and let us do the pouring. 🍺 **r **r

Fresh hop season starts now, and we’re kicking it off with a banger. Meet Cone Drop, an American IPA made with fresh Centennial and Amarillo hops from our friends at Crosby Hops. Using their cryogenically frozen CGXNUVO hops, we’re bringing peak-freshness Oregon hops straight to Colorado. Expect candied orange, grapefruit zest, and pine.

Fresh hops wait for no one. Come drink this one now, and then stick around for open mic at 6. Cone drop. Mic drop. One excellent First Friday in the ACAD.

It’s officially, appropriately pumpkin season, and we are serving it all the ways: hot, iced and carbonated. Punk-In Lattes are back at mishapcoffee and Eggnog for Morning People pumpkin spice lattes b**r is pouring on the taps. New month also means a packed weekend:

📖 book club Thursday 10/1 at 6:30pm, we’re chatting Overstory by Richard Powers

🎤 First Fridays in ACAD means Open Mic Night here at 6pm with Mario Mata and Brandi Mata

🍻 Octoberfest Kölsch-style service Saturday 10/3 from 1-5pm with pretzel and Festbier specials

🥞Pancake breakfast Sunday 10/4 8-10am with Aurora Road Runners

Happy fall friends and cheers to pumpkin season!

09/25/2026

Happy Dolly Parton day! To celebrate the legend, we’re giving you some love with a $1 off happy hour from 5-9, and spreading the love further by donating $1 per pint to Imagination Library of Denver. Cheers!

Circus flash sheets are out! Peyton and Harley will be here this weekend to help ring in two years at the mishapcoffee anniversary carnival this Saturday, Sept 19.

Games, prizes, food, bounce houses, balloon artists and more from noon-4! Clowns are packing into cars and tents are unfurling, see you Saturday!
