Anniversary update and Storytime!

So 2 years ago myself (Thomas Sherwood), and my business partner (Jonathan Greschler), got paired with Stoney Jesseph we're all paired together at the Polidori Sausage scramble golf tournament! We had such a blast and may or may not do some work together at some point, but we certainly still hit the links! Well Stoney has a new stop he's building out in Colorado springs and one day we were down there checking it out and noticed a little something. There were some unused decorative barrels that would be sitting around until opening. Long story story, we agreed to borrow the barrel until they were ready to open!

That said, inside of this former 291 Colorado Whiskey ®️ whiskey barrel we have stowed away an Osmanthus Oolong Jasmine Hibiscus Vesper Martini! We just harvested the barrel and are excited to offer it on Friday Aug 21st live in person, or bottled TO-GO!! This features Gin from Ancestors Distilling Ltd. 🥀 Ransom Spirits and Glendalough Distillery, Vodka from Ancestors Distilling Ltd. 🥀, & tea from Loose Leaf Tea & Wellness.

We here at Nearby know that not everyone is interested in alcohol this month, and we're here to support you! On average at Nearby we have ~125 house made ingredients, and over ~80 of those are 100% Non-Alcoholic! We'd love to make you a custom cocktail that encompasses your personal inspiration. Coming this Saturday, an evening with Wes Panther the Owner operator of Ancestor's Distilling from Fort Collins, CO! Wes does the entire process of distilling and off the admin work and is truly a one man operation. We love his product and are excited to feature a menu laced with his spirits. Wes will be joining us for a portion of the night to answer questions and talk more about his products! Come try something new and local!
