It’s a week to celebrate life, and if you want to buy me a birthday drink, here’s where I’ll be. Cheers!
Today-Monday the GoodBar in Point Loma for $1 wings all night! The Stanley Cup Final game is 5p
Tuesday-the 1st Summer Concert in Del Mar at Powerhouse Park. BYOB 🍻🍷as it’s all allowed!
Wednesday-love the $1 wings at Paradise Bar. Thursday-oysters for $1.25ea at the Fish Shop then bingo, it’s fun, 8:30p at Harbor Town Pub.
Friday night-see Kevin Costner’s new movie, Horizon, at the Lot in Liberty Station (I’m a big fan of Westerns). Then dance, 9p-1a at Old Venice.
Saturday-is the Taste of the Gaslamp, then rally at Club Marina on Scott Street in Point Loma.
Sunday-my birthday and a pool party, atop the Andaz Hotel, so arrive before 1:30p to eat cake!

Fun, winning, things to do in San Diego this weekend start with betting on who will win the 149th Preakness horse race happening soon! Does Kentucky Derby winner Mystik Dan take the second leg of the Triple Crown, or will Bob Baffert’s Imagination win today or who will?
And a fun event happening right now is the annual Fiesta del Sol in Solana Beach, and the last band on stage there is about 8:30pm. No charge!
Then in an hour the 114th-annual Portuguese Festival starts in Point Loma at the Portuguese Hall just off Rosecrans on Shelter Island Drive. Look for 2-giant white tents in their parking lot, and that’s where you’ll find the Portuguese food, and the last band finishes at 10:30pm. That’s where you’ll find me dancing, and drinking in the bar at the Portuguese Hall. No entry charge for FUN in the Sun! PS, I moved 2-blocks away to party in Point Loma 🎉 AND, remember the Breeder’s Cup comes to Del Mar this November 1 & 2nd. I’ll be putting on “racey” events for that!
