Brewed with mountains of oats and bottomless grab bags of specialty malts. Conditioned atop a copious amount of our Awake Minds Ethiopian Kochere Coffee (roasted by ) and heaps of Madagascar vanilla beans for many moons. Big chocolate covered blueberry, toasted marshmallow, lush marzipan, and espresso notes. Complex and luscious.

After 5 1/2 incredible years, it’s time to pour the last beer and say goodbye. Hops Scotch has been more than just a place to enjoy exceptional beers; it has been a hub for great conversations, memorable events, and the home of a wonderful community.
The final day will be the end of this month, November 30th, give or take a day depending on our remaining stock.
As this chapter closes, I raise a glass to you—our friends, family, and incredible community. Thank you for being an unforgettable part of the Hops Scotch story.
So until that last day, the beer will keep flowing! Join me and the best beertenders over the next few weeks to help clear the shelves and empty the taps. Let’s make these final weeks ones to remember!

Perfect Sippin For Fall Weather

Bourbon Barrel Quad / 12.2%
This abbey-style quadrupel is separated into a number of oak bourbon barrels where it ages for varying lengths of time, some for up to three years. Cherries are added to make up for the “angel’s share” of beer lost during barrel aging. Selected barrels are then blended for optimum flavor. The resulting beer retains only very subtle cherry characteristics, with toffee and vanilla notes coming to the fore.

Bold sweet confectionery chocolate aromatics give way to a rich, creamy mouthfeel. Like a perfectly toasted marshmallow, the flavor teeters between honey and roasted but avoids any burnt notes. The heavy alcohol only lurks well after the brew is quaffed but will leave you feeling as warm as leaving your shoes too close to the campfire.
