❤️ Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the unexpected passing of Carrie Cameron-McDonald, owner of La Vie Taverne.
Carrie wasn’t just a fellow business owner in the De Pere community; she was a friend. Tye and Emily had the pleasure of spending time at La Vie on many occasions, including celebrating part of Emily’s college graduation night there. Carrie was a genuinely wonderful woman, and those memories will always hold a special place in our hearts.
The De Pere community has experienced a tremendous loss. Carrie helped create more than just a bar. She created a place where people gathered, friendships grew, and memories were made.
During this difficult time, we would like to show our support for Carrie’s family, the La Vie Taverne family, and our fellow community members. As neighboring businesses, we understand that our community is more than the places we operate. It’s the people, the friendships, and the connections that bring us all together.
As a community, we will stand together, support one another, and eventually begin to heal. But things will never quite be the same without her.
