Tastes like: light, but a little malty (tiny bit of body, small “boost” in the bitterness). Not hoppy, just lightly malty. Easy drinking but not watery.
Serve it in: Nothing too complicated (Pilsner glass, a pint glass, half-pint glass, coffee mug, water bottle)
Polish and Eastern European purists drink it with: a hearty traditional Polish meal (kielbasa, cabbage, pierogi, heavy breads, etc.)
In Delco- Enjoy with a Roast Pork sandwich. Maybe some thick cut french fries.
If you like this try an authentic “Zywiec” from Poland, a light German Pilsner, or even a Czech lager.
Zloty = Currency of Poland,
“Zloty” exact translation = “golden”,
1 Dollar = 3 to 4 Zloty
Reason to celebrate (with Twin Elephant brewery and this beer):
Living Twin Elephants remain extremely rare (less than 1% of all Elephant births.)
Both babies and the mother rarely survive very long.
In May, Rangers spotted healthy twin Elephant babies (and their Mom) in a National Park in India. Only the third such sighting on Planet Earth in 2026.
“Na Zdrowie! (“Cheers” in Polish)
Fun Polish drinking tip- If somebody yells “Na Zdrowie” at you, immediately yell it right back (Otherwise Polish traditions dictate you must chug your beer)
In cans this week, worth spending some of your Zloty to try one.
