🐴Derby Day May 2nd, 2026🐴. We have so much gratitude for all our friends and patrons who came out to celebrate the races with us, and to thank Diane for 30 YEARS as our fearless leader here at C. Bar. Here's some highlights—great smiles, amazing hats, and delicious snacks.

A lot can happen in 30 years. Cities change. People come and go. The world moves in ways both beautiful and alarming.

But in the Gem City, in this little corner, one thing remained constant. This little bar was there (even after moving next door), serving cold beers, and warm pours of the best brown liquid in the state. Diane Spitzig has held it steady through it all.

Saturday, May 2nd, 3-9, we’re celebrating Diane’s 3 decades at the helm. The derby will be running, cake and charcuterie will be served, and memories will be both shared and made!

Education, relaxation, and a bit of team building is the order of the day. We’re treating our staff to a tour at Distillery.

We’re closing up shop for Monday 4/20. But never fear, we’ll be back in the “office” Tuesday 4/21.
