side BBQ joints across the South. That’s where he fell in love with slow-smoked brisket, seasoned dry rubs, hardwood smoke, and bold BBQ flavor. In 1995, Jack opened Clubhouse Bar-B-Q in Ferndale, Michigan, a legendary smokehouse known for its brisket and pulled pork. Inside that kitchen, he created the fresh salsa recipe that became Garden Fresh Gourmet, one of North America’s most recognized fresh salsa brands. Trevor grew up learning authentic barbecue techniques — tending smokers, studying hardwood blends, traveling to competitions, and mastering what makes great BBQ unforgettable. In 2019, we launched Jack’s Roadside BBQ as a seasonal food trailer serving the Clarkston and Davisburg community. The response was immediate — people were searching for authentic BBQ in Oakland County, and they found it. After Jack’s passing at just 68 years old, his legacy pushed us forward. In 2022, we purchased the Four Seasons building in Davisburg to create a year-round BBQ restaurant and catering hub serving Southeast Michigan. Today, Jack’s Roadside BBQ is recognized as:

Angela brings a background in marketing, hospitality, and Oakland County real estate. Together, we built this business from the ground up — blending a family of six children and trusting God’s timing every step of the way.
