Mexican Republic has its own authentic plates and flavors, and Mestizo brings you the aromas and spices, meats and seafood, soups and vegetable, characteristic of its land. Banana leaves, achiote paste, chayote squash, huitlacoche truffle, squash blossom flower, dried chiles - all freshly prepared in the small kitchen, where chef Raul Ortegon mixes and plays with the recipes and contemporary ones. There is NO freezer in Mestizo!

Our Margaritas are made of natural juices, oranges, limes, agave nectar, 100% blue agave tequila. Desserts are baked on a daily basis no preservatives no frozen cakes. Enjoy the open a patio with small tables, umbrellas, chairs and the overall ambiance of downtown Davidson. The brick patio nestles beside the restaurant just north of the post office. Inside, the atmosphere is cozy and the décor emphasizes the art of famous Mexican muralists full of color and history. The vintage Edison bulbs give a unique ambiance and a perfect intimate touch.
